Our Ecostatic Solar MAX solar powered welfare units will dramatically reduce operating costs all year round, with the potential to reduce fuel use to ZERO in the summer months. Large savings will be made during the winter months thanks to the large solar array and battery combination. The solar welfare units will undoubtedly save fuel in all seasons.
The Ecostatic Solar MAX unit is perfect for companies that are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and, more importantly, improve the environment for communities in the vicinity of operation.
This solar hybrid welfare unit is silent most of the time and only engages the diesel generator when absolutely necessary. This is controlled by our Ecosmart system, automatically switching power supply between solar, batteries and the generator in the best combination to meet demands and keep batteries charged.
When solar gain is high the Ecosmart system will not waste a drop of solar power. Solar power can flow directly to where it’s needed, bypassing the batteries and going direct to the circuit. You can rest assured that our Ecostatic Solar MAX welfare units will achieve optimum functionality at all times.
Our Ecostatic Solar MAX welfare units have been designed to have the same user-friendly operation as the standard Ecosmart welfare unit, but with added benefits. Power to run the heating, sockets, kettle and microwave comes instantly from solar, batteries and a generator in the most efficient combination. With built-in telemetry as standard, cabin operators can see all real-time power usage and control systems remotely via a mobile phone or desktop app. When you choose our Ecostatic Solar MAX welfare units, you can be comforted with the peace of mind that you will be provided with everything you need.

Solar panels achieve maximum output in direct sunlight, but they work in normal daylight and cloudy weather too. The amount of power a solar panel or charging kit generates in cloudy weather will be lower compared to direct sunlight. Also the positioning of the cabin will affect the solar charging of the batteries i.e. under trees, etc.
This assessment doesn’t take in consideration the usage of the hydraulics. This assessment is guidance only.
