Design and manufacturing standards

EasyCabin operates a flow production system, meaning that all manufacturing of welfare units is carried out efficiently and economically, thus reducing lead times for the finished product.

Production has also been advanced with a new 18-metre span overhead crane, alongside a bespoke paint spraying facility allowing the company to prepare a minimum of two units simultaneously.

Chassis:

Maintenance free galvanised chassis with type approved axles.

Walls:

Surface walls are manufactured from high strength composite making them easy to wipe and keep clean.

Surfaces:

Stainless steel work surfaces which are hygienic and hard wearing.

Components:

Simple on site replacement for key elements. EasyCabin unplug and replace technology allows non skilled technicians to simply replace hot wash components , hydraulic pumps, etc.

Electrics:

High quality wiring looms which are pre wired and numbered. Combined with wiring diagrams this significantly improves fault finding

Modular parts:

Our modular approach using common parts allows us to easily service existing units and develop new units to meet specific customer requirements

VCA & ISO:9001 approved

VCA ‘Whole Vehicle Type Approval’ (WVTA) in accordance with EEC Directive 2007/46. This means EasyCabin units are approved for safe transportation throughout the EU. They are delivered with either a Certificate of Conformity or Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) certificate and individual records are kept up to date and stored securely ready for inspection, when required.

Quality assurance

The EasyCabin manufacturing process is managed in accordance with ISO9001 and the company is active members of many leading trade organisations, including; the MPBA, PSE and the Rail Alliance. The EasyCabin in house design and development team work closely with clients to develop units to meet exact specifications.
