Nixon Hire, one of the UK’s largest and leading site equipment providers, are extending their existing fleet to meet the huge demand for EasyCabin mobile welfare units nationwide.

The multi million pound order includes the Ecosmart 12 & Ecosmart 20 mobile welfare units models, with “Air” diesel heating, keeping fuel use to a minimum.

Also included in the investment is the Solar Loo, a hugely popular product with Nixon Hire customers since their launch in 2019. The Solar Loo is a stand-alone static toilet unit with hybrid LPG & solar panels on-board. The unit is highly efficient unit with very low emissions and perfect for remote locations.

AJC EasyCabin & Nixon Hire have also been working together to develop an exciting new accommodation concept. Working in partnership, Nixon Hire and AJC EasyCabin rose to the challenge to design & build a UK Building Regulation Compliant, modular hotel sleeping unit. A high level spec inside & out, the hotel includes Ecosmart technology, solar panels and air conditioning as standard. More details to follow soon!

Nixon Hire’s Managing Director commented “It’s our aim to have the most comprehensive and modern fleet of welfare units available in todays’ market.” “Our latest investment of Ecosmart welfare units will further add to our choice of eco-friendly fleet of accommodation, toilets and solar pod hybrid generators.” Graham added, “We like to work with AJC, as they are the innovators in welfare manufacturing, leading the way in the sector with energy saving at the heart of its’ ethos. We set the challenge and they help us provide an innovative solution”.
