AJC EasyCabin is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of mobile welfare cabins, solar-powered welfare units and battery energy storage systems. As demand for our innovative products continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Aftersales Service Engineer to join our expanding team.

This is a varied, hands-on field-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll travel throughout the UK diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, commissioning equipment and providing exceptional customer support on industry-leading welfare and renewable energy products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, repair and service electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems on mobile welfare cabins.
• Carry out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• ⁠Fault-find on diesel generators, solar systems, battery storage and electrical control systems.
• Configure and diagnose Victron Energy systems including Cerbo GX, MultiPlus, Quattro, MPPTs and VRM Remote Management.
• Support customers both remotely and on-site with technical advice.
• Complete digital service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Deliver customer training on the operation and maintenance of our equipment.
• Manage warranty repairs and identify spare parts required.
• Work closely with our Technical Support, Quality and Production teams to continually improve our products.
  

We’re Looking For Someone With

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Aftersales Engineer or Service Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays.
  

Desirable Experience

• 12V and 24V electrical systems.
• Generator servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and maintenance.
• Victron Energy systems including MultiPlus, Quattro, Cerbo GX, GX Touch, MPPT solar chargers and VRM.
• ⁠Solar charging systems.
• Lithium and AGM battery technology.
• Diesel heating systems (Webasto or similar).
• Plumbing and pressurised water systems.
• Trailer chassis, running gear and braking systems.
• Welfare cabins, motorhomes, caravans, marine, plant or off-grid power systems.
